Getting CVS source without CVS

Brandon, Nicholas (UK)

Hi,

It there a way to download the latest source from CVS without using the CVS
tool?

I only have access to the internet through HTTP/FTP and via a company proxy.

Regards
Nick

Nicholas,

Its not pretty, but you could download the latest released source from
the download page http://www.sqlite.org/download.html and then download
individual files as they are changed. Get the complete source tarball
from file sqlite-3.2.7.tar.gz.

You can monitor the changes made to the source from the timeline page
http://www.sqlite.org/cvstrac/timeline. It will let  you see each
checkin that is made, and which files were modified. Look for items
listed as Check-in [nnnn]. If you click on one of these items it will
take you to the cvstrac page for that file and you can get the latest
version.

Then you can also go to the cvstrac page
http://www.sqlite.org/cvstrac/dir?d=sqlite directly. It lets you view or
download the individual files, or get diffs from previous versions.
